Discover Self-Hypnosis To Kick Bad Habits

Many people often ask :- “Who uses self –hypnosis?” Self-hypnosis has been used by the most successful athletes, high powered business people, actors, musicians, writers, and others, all to gain more confidence and conquer new objectives. Self-hypnosis is a totally natural way of changing our awareness of the present moment and gaining awareness of ourselves as being part of that moment. It is used to directly program our unconscious with affirmations and suggestions that would otherwise have to run through critical processes in our mind. It takes a very convenient short cut and thus allows us to control our minds in gaining the upper hand over bad habits, phobias and lack of self confidence.

Many experts say that the secret of successful self-hypnosis is in learning how to play the game of pretending really well. One aspect that many don’t know about self-hypnosis is that you have to stay awake during the process. Self-hypnosis is a wonderful tool that is both rewarding and a life long asset.

The feeling of hypnosis has been described as a relaxing daydream, sometimes a meditative staring off into space, or other telltale sign that the person is involved more in an inner experience, than what is going on around her or him. While in hypnosis, our mind is more open to helpful ideas that may be accepted directly into the way you think. Remember, hypnosis is a unique state of mind, different from our ordinary state of mind. Our ordinary mind must therefore be induced, that is changed into a different state to achieve hypnosis. Specifically, hypnosis seems to bypass some of the barriers the brain has built to inhibit new learning.

It is well known that hypnosis is an extraordinary therapeutic tool used in clinical psychology, but it is literally for EVERYONE. While hypnosis is best known for successful weight loss, to quit smoking, to reduce anxiety and tension, for self confidence, fear, etc, the truth is, hypnosis may be useful for any topic that is influenced by the mind. We can think of it like this: self hypnosis can’t change the weather, but it can help you to remember to use your umbrella.

The Role Of Self Hypnosis In Stress Management

Stress and anxiety have been called “the new epidemic” and are connected to a large variety of emotional and physical problems. I will need a lot of concentration in ridding my mind of fears, anxiety and worry – it will take me a considerable effort to do so. People have a desire to accomplish certain goals that they currently seem incapable of achieving. They have an intuitive feeling that there must be “a better way” to manage stress, control one’s weight, stop smoking, That better way is self – hypnosis.
