Masturbation has been discovered to have every adverse effects, especially in men. As a man, I will be focusing more on masturbation in men, its effects and how to completely stop this life-depleting habit. Just to mention a few, masturbation in men could result in any or all of the following:
WAIST PAIN: When one habitually indulges in masturbation, one begins to develop back or waist pain so that with time it becomes difficult to even bend down to pick up something from the floor.
GENERAL BODY WEAKNESS: With habitual indulgence, a person looses physical strength to carry out his activities for the day. With time, the individual becomes lethargic, weak and full of drudgery which results in laziness and excessive sleep because of the low level of energy.
DULL EYE BALLS: Another bad effect of masturbation is that the eyes become very dull and reflects stress. It is truly a reflection of stress because during masturbation the brain is over-strained in order for the individual to realize or experience sexual pleasure. If you still indulge in it you would notice the absence of zest and life in your eye balls and that reduces your facial charm as a man.
LOST OF MEMORY: For me, this is the most devastating of all the negative effects of masturbation. Because of the mental strain on the brain during the indulgence, the individual begins to experience lost of memory. Note that during sexual excitement, blood is drawn from the legs and the brain to the penis which explains the weakness of the body and brain afterward.
These are enough reasons why a man should make deliberate decision to stop masturbation. Your sexual urge should be consummated on your spouse and not on unrealistic fantasies. I am going to show you the practical steps I took to stop masturbating. These, I believe, are universal principles that, if you imbibe, will help you overcome not just masturbation, but every other bad habit.
First, you must understand that every action start in the mind. Knowing this will help you combat every other bad habits and cultivate or accentuate good ones in your life. We are creatures of our thought and products of our habits. What we think, we do and what we habitually do forms our character. Our character ultimately forms us. It is safe therefore to say that you can not stop masturbating while you still nurse immoral thoughts. It is such thought of sex that overwhelmingly results in the action- masturbation. Look back in reminiscence and you would notice that there was never a time you masturbated without first nursing a sexual thought. So stop the thinking and the action is taken care of. When the thought is arrested you will not have to worry about the action.
